That’s what I said, “Bahsghetti”!

Hump day meal. Actually it’s my erryday meal this week. I effing LOOOVVEEE FOOOOD!! Lately, I have been trying new things and coming up with new [low carb] meals that tie into my plan. Mind you, I weigh out my portions specifically. I at least make 4-5 meals with my ingredients, but this time I wanted more. This recipe is probably one of my new favorites, and I hope you enjoy it as well!

Ingredients:  Ground Turkey 1lb – Tomato Basil Sauce 24oz – 2 Whole Spaghetti Squash – Seasonings: Crushed Red Pepper, Italian Seasoning, Minced Garlic, Pink Salt, Pepper, Onion Powder, & Cayenne to taste. Made 7 total servings.

Directions:  Preheat oven to 450°. Cut Squash in half length-wise. Lay face up on baking sheet, drizzle on some EVOO, dust on salt & pepper, and bake for 45-50 minutes. Let cool about 10 minutes before using a fork to shread. Cook ground turkey over medium heat until absolutely no pink is left. Add seasoning to taste. Reduce to low heat, pour in sauce and stir slowly for about 5 minutes or until hot. Tip: There’s always that little bit of sauce still in the jar after you pour out the contents. I added about 1/4 cup of Lambrusco to the jar, shook it up, and poured that into my pan. Very resourceful and delicious last minute decision.

Each Meal Includes: 5oz. Spaghetti Squash – 4oz. Meat/Sauce Combo – Sprinkle of Parmesan.
